If you are a mom, this book is a MUST read! I cannot emphasize that enough. As moms, we so often find ourselves questioning if we are good enough…we wonder how we are going to get it all done…we worry about how things are/are not going to work out…how do we balance this thing called life?! I could go on and on, but suffice to say, this book is a gentle reminder that we are not alone in those feelings.
Becky Thompson of Scissortail Silk fills this book with honest stories from her own life, and what God has taught her through it. As I read this book, I related in so many different ways…I honestly felt as if I was sitting next to my best friend, pouring our hearts out to one another without fear of judgement…only grace and encouragement. I laughed, I cried, and I related in ways/areas I never dreamt possible from someone who knows nothing of me, my life, and my struggles.

How’d we end up here?” then shrug His shoulders and shuffle off to get some coffee (even though there are days that feel as if that is His general attitude). I have highlighted through this book already, and will do more as I re-read it. This is one of those books that you keep…you share with your friends…and you bring back out to re-read again and again. It’s a reminder…a needed reminder for all of those stages in a mother’s life.
